The agency you contact. This is the main thing to understand about a property portal: when you enquire about a listing, your name, phone number, email and message are sent to the brokerage advertising it, so they can reply. They become responsible for that information under their own obligations. We do not sell your details to agencies you did not contact.
Service providers. Hosting, database, text-recognition and messaging providers who process data on our instructions under contract. Some are outside Qatar, which means your information may be transferred abroad; we require appropriate safeguards where it is.
Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
We do not sell personal data.
MARSA Pro reads text from marketing images that agency users upload, to fill in listing details automatically. Where a phone number appears inside such an image, we detect it and obscure it before the image is published, so contact runs through the platform. The original upload is retained so that an agency can see how a listing was produced from it.
You may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You can withdraw consent to location access or notifications at any time in your device settings. Write to privacy@marsa.qa; we respond within response period.
You can delete your account and data directly in either app under Account → Delete account.
MARSA is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We will post any change here and, where it materially affects you, tell you in the app before it takes effect.
